The planned seller subscription is $149 per month. Account creation is a separate, free step in the current setup flow; the subscription is the paid step intended to unlock protected seller onboarding and sales-data intake after payment verification. Because CartCairn is still in development, live availability and checkout readiness may change.

Sellers provide a sales export in CSV format, along with the onboarding details needed to define the review scope: the business, selling channels, and U.S. states or regions to consider. The intake is designed to validate each row before saving normalized sales records. The exact columns and any missing-data questions depend on the export you provide and the published intake rules.

The planned report is a monthly snapshot built from the seller account’s saved CSV records and owner-published, CPA-reviewed U.S. policies and filing rules. It is intended to show a sales summary, checks for applicable thresholds and policies, what appears covered, what needs attention, and a practical next-step list. When the supplied data or published rules do not support a conclusion, the service is designed to show that limitation rather than infer an answer.

What does human review do?

Human review is intended to help examine seller-supplied details against the published rules and policy templates, explain an edge case, and identify the next item to investigate. It does not turn an incomplete CSV into verified facts, expand the service beyond its published rules, or replace advice from a qualified tax or legal professional. Any review depends on the information and owner-approved material available for the seller’s scope.

Does CartCairn guarantee compliance or a legal outcome?

No. CartCairn is planned as a tracking, checklist, reporting, and review aid. It does not guarantee compliance, a filing result, a tax position, an audit outcome, or any other legal outcome. Sellers remain responsible for deciding what to do and for getting professional advice when their situation requires it.

What sellers, channels, and rules will it cover?

The current plan is for small U.S. sellers using online channels such as Etsy, Shopify, and Amazon. Coverage is limited to the jurisdictions, products, channels, thresholds, and policy templates represented in the published owner-approved material at the time of review. CartCairn does not claim that every state, product, marketplace, or regulatory question is covered.

The service is planned around a monthly reporting cycle. A report depends on the seller completing onboarding and providing usable sales data for the period; it is not an instant review or a promise to recreate every historical month. The available report and its timing will depend on the service being live, the data received, and the rules published for the seller’s scope.
